Important Tax Deadline for Seniors this Wednesday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 4, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — If you’re 65 years old or older and you live in Cook County, there’s an important property tax deadline for you coming up this Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Wednesday is the last day to submit your application forms for the Senior Citizen Property Tax Exemption and the Senior Freeze Property Tax Exemption.

Even if you’ve submitted the forms in past years, you must resubmit them annually in order to qualify again for the exemption.
