Governor Quinn Joins with University of Illinois Community to Celebrate Signing of the Sustainable University Compact

CHICAGO, IL - February 19, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — On Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Business Institutional Facility, Governor Pat Quinn joined the University of Illinois President, Chancellor and Trustee Chairman to celebrate the signing of the Sustainable University Compact by all three University of Illinois campuses to green their campuses.
EPA’S Illinois Green Power Partners cut greenhouse gas emissions

Chicago, IL - February 10, 2008 - (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 announced today that its 2008 top-ranking Green Power Partners in Illinois reduced their greenhouse gas emissions in 2008 by buying more than 445 million kilowatt-hours of electricity from renewable resources such as solar and wind power.
