CDOT is Soliciting Comments on the Rules and Regulations for Construction in the Public Way June 1st – 30th

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 2, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — In January 2014, the Chicago Department of Transportation issued an updated version of the “Rules and Regulations for Construction in the Public Way.”  The periodic revision of the regulations is part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to ensure safe and quality construction and restoration in the City of Chicago.

The Department is pleased with the positive impact the 2014 revision has had on communities throughout Chicago.  However, CDOT is committed to continually improving our City’s construction standards.

Accordingly, the Department is interested in hearing feedback on the January 2014 Rules and Regulations.  Specifically, the Department seeks input on any proposed additions, changes, deletions, or clarifications to the current Rules and Regulations.  Your input will be taken into consideration for incorporation into future revisions of the Rules and Regulations.  This document can be found on the following City website for review:

A hard copy of the current CDOT Rules and Regulations is also available for review at the CDOT Permit Office located at City Hall Room 905.
