CHICAGO, IL – May 9, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Cushman & Wakefield’s Midwest Multifamily Advisory Group is pleased to announce the sale of 2000 Illinois Apartments in Aurora, IL on behalf of a private partnership to Mercy Housing Lakefront, an Illinois not for profit corporation.
The value-add multifamily property contains 128 apartment homes in western Aurora. The “U”-shaped, five-story property had been owned by the original developers since its construction in 1974. Situated on 3.6 acres in a residential neighborhood, 2000 Illinois is located just blocks from major retailers, highways and Metra.
