Lee & Associates of Illinois Announces Growth of the Retail Services Group with Four New Additions
CHICAGO, Ill. – May 14, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — It is an exciting time for the Chicago office of Lee & Associates as we have been able to strengthen our retail bench with the addition of four exceptional retail brokers since the beginning of 2015. These brokers bring a combined 128 years of experience. We are pleased to introduce Mike Woldman, Edward Winslow, CCIM, Joe Grody and Jeffrey Howard.
Mike Woldman, vice president, brings over 17 years of commercial real estate experience to Lee. Mike has a strong background in retail leasing, tenant representation, lease negotiations, redevelopment, and retail acquisitions and dispositions. Mike has leased over 650,000 square feet of small to mid-box tenant retail space. He has also brokered over $42 million in land acquisitions for retail and residential developers.
Edward Winslow, CCIM, vice president in the retail services group brings over 35 years of experience in commercial and investment real estate. Edward’s experience includes brokerage and financial analysis of shopping centers, office and industrial buildings, apartment complexes and land for single-family and multi-family residential and commercial development.
Mike and Edward will anchor the retail group’s efforts by expanding Lee’s services into the Rockford market by opening an office in Rockford.
Jeffrey Howard joins Lee’s retail services group as senior vice president with over 46 years of experience. Prior to joining Lee, Jeff spent the last 13 years at a major Midwest based REIT leasing mid-box anchor vacancies in the Chicago region; consisting of millions of square feet and over 60 transactions. Jeff has an incredible working knowledge of the Chicagoland market.
Joe Grody, senior vice president in Lee’s retail services group, spent the last nine years at Sierra Realty where his focus was and will continue to be representing national tenants with a concentration on restaurants, as well as continued roll-out of the Sears Hometown and Outlet concepts. Joe will also continue to work with landlords and developers with leasing, where his specialty is the pre-leasing of ground up developments. Joe brings over 35 years of experience to Lee.
The addition of these top-notch teammates coupled with the efforts of Principal, Rick Scardino, National Retail Advisor for Lee & Associates and Senior Vice President, Joe Herron will help round out our continued efforts to expand Lee & Associates’ presence in the Chicagoland market and continue to attract superior talent.
