Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Hires C.J. Loos As New Associate
CHICAGO – March 25, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm with offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, announced that C.J. Loos has joined the firm as a new associate in the Chicago office. Ms. Loos’ background includes a variety of legal projects, with emphasis on corporate and real estate law.
Ms. Loos is a former summer associate of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, where she worked with commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements. During this time, Ms. Loos also conducted research regarding legal standards, environmental liability and fraudulent conveyances.
Prior to joining Pircher in a full-time capacity, Ms. Loos was an associate with Sidley Austin LLP, where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate law. Among other projects, Ms. Loos gained valuable experience as counsel to issuers and underwriters in various securities transactions. Additionally, Ms. Loos conducted research in several areas, including matters of corporate and securities law.
Ms. Loos earned her J.D., graduating magna cum laude, in 2011 from Northwestern University School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2006.
