RE/MAX Agents Led DeKalb and Grundy Counties Markets In Residential Listings Sold During 2011
CHICAGO, IL – March 26, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — RE/MAX agents were the market-share leaders for listed homes sold in both DeKalb and Grundy counties in northern Illinois during 2011. RE/MAX agents listed 19 percent of homes sold in DeKalb County and 23.3 percent of listings sold in Grundy based on all transactions recorded by Midwest Real Estate Data, LLC.
In DeKalb County, 715 residential sales were completed in 2011, and RE/MAX agents listed 136 (19 percent) of those homes. The other brokerages in the top five for listings sold were Coldwell Banker with 134 (18.7 percent), Century 21 with 101 (14.1 percent) and Elm Street Realtors with 57 (8 percent), while Signature Real Estate tied Keller Williams with 22 sales (3.1 percent).
There were 446 homes sold in Grundy County last year, and RE/MAX agents listed 104 (23.3 percent) of those. Other brokerages that ranked among the top five for listings sold were Coldwell Banker with 76 (17 percent), Century 21 with 70 (15.7 percent) and Advantage Realty with 24 (5.4 percent), while Regional Realty Group tied with Realty Executives at 19 sales (4.3 percent).
