Stan Sieron receives award for political leadership from the Illinois Association of REALTORS®
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Belleville REALTOR® Stan Sieron, CRS, GRI, broker-owner of Stan Sieron and Company in Belleville, has received the 2013 Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR) Political Involvement Award.
The award was given for outstanding political and legislative service to the REALTOR® organization. The announcement was made at the association’s Public Policy Meetings held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Riverfront Conference Center in East Peoria, Ill., Jan. 20-23.
During a real estate career that spans more than 40 years, Sieron is recognized as an industry leader who stands out in his ongoing dedication to grassroots involvement and political advocacy for the REALTOR® community at the local, state and national level.
A past president of the Illinois Association of REALTORS®, Sieron is a member of the REALTOR® Association of Southwestern Illinois (formerly the Belleville Area Association of REALTORS®). He is a past president of his local association and in 2002, was named its REALTOR® of the Year.
Sieron has been actively involved on committees related to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and public policy, and chaired the National Association of REALTORS® Political Advisory Working Group. He is IAR’s key State Legislative Contact for State Rep. Eddie Jackson.
