SPRINGFIELD -- (RealEstateRama) -- The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Division of Real Estate (DRE) recently published the “Rights and Responsibilities of Association Board Members” to clearly explain the legal responsibilities of condominium and common interest community property boards.
Gov. Bruce Rauner today signed legislation to reduce burdensome licensing requirements for real estate businesses. The new licensing program is expected to save the state money by reducing a duplicative and unnecessary licensure structure that provides no benefit to the public and discourages business creation and growth.
The Illinois Senate unanimously confirmed Kreg Allison as the Director of the Division of Real Estate (DRE) for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) recently. Kreg Allison was appointed Director of the DRE by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner in January 2016.
An alternative to the paper license pocket card is now available for the majority of licensed professionals regulated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). An estimated 1.1 million active licensees within the Division of Professional Regulation (DPR) and the Division of Real Estate (DRE) may now choose to store an electronic license pocket card on their smartphone or tablet.
