Site in Charleston, Ill. Serves as Call Center Operation
CHARLESTON, IL – January 19, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Solix Inc., a business process outsourcing company serving government and commercial clients, has renewed its lease for 23,000 square feet at 700 West Lincoln Ave. in Charleston, Ill., announced commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Solix Inc., a long-time Cushman & Wakefield client, has been occupying the space since the acquisition of a predecessor company.
Solix Inc. was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Peter Hamburger, Harlan Hollander, Walter Schoenberg, Robert Rudin, Jan Randall and Nate Brzozowski in East Rutherford, N.J., and locally by Art Thoma of Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty. Owner LATEL, LLC, an affiliate of Agracel, Inc., was represented in-house.
“The lease was up, and the company decided to renew in place,” said Hamburger. “We were able to renegotiate the lease at a favorable rental rate and with flexible options going forward. Flexibility is key for Solix because of the nature of their business.”
Solix, Inc. provides domestic outsourcing solutions for government and commercial clients including program administration and integrity assurance, qualification processing for applicant eligibility, customer care and call center as well as grant management services for clients and programs of various sizes and needs. The company utilizes the Charleston, Ill. location as a call center.
