CHICAGO, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ — Steven L. Good, chairman and CEO of Sheldon Good & Company International, LLC, the Chicago-based real estate firm that markets properties globally through its real estate auctions, brokerage, consulting and lending companies, recently spoke about the global commercial real estate auction trend at the Texas Association of REALTORS(R) annual convention in Galveston. During his speech last month, Good described some of Sheldon Good & Company’s real estate auctions in the U.S. as well as in Central and South America, the Caribbean, Canada and Western Europe. He also offered tips on how to build alliances with strategic partners and discussed regulatory issues and other challenges.
Sheldon Good & Company (http://www.sheldongood.com), which has offices in Chicago, Manhattan, Scottsdale, Denver and Houston, recently opened its first office outside the U.S. in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2007, the “Signature Series” awarded $72,500 in grants to REALTOR(R) associations around the U.S., helping them to fund speeches by nationally known commercial real estate experts at their local, regional and statewide events.
“The coordinators of the ‘Signature Series’ identify and invite the most sought after commercial real estate speakers in the U.S. and Good is one of those individuals,” said James Marrelli, vice president-commercial real estate of NAR who attended Good’s speech in Galveston. “Good educated the audience of leading commercial practitioners from across Texas about an additional and invaluable service for the disposition of real estate,” added Charles Marina, chairman of the Texas REALTORS(R) Commercial Alliance and president of First American Realty Company in McAllen, TX.
