Torrance, CA – October 9, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The national real estate law firm Pircher, Nichols & Meeks has hired Susan V. Kai as an associate in its Chicago office. In her new position, she will be engaged in real estate financing, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as leasing.
Kai received her J.D. in 2012 from Northwestern University School of Law. While attending law school, she served as an executive editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, co-president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF), vice president of Diversity Coalition and secretary of the Student Effort to Rejuvenate Volunteering (SERV). In addition, Kai was active in the Environmental Advocacy Center at Northwestern University School of Law’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, served as a team leader for a student-led International Team Project (ITP) course studying Thailand and Bhutan, and was awarded special recognition as a “Public Service Star” for extraordinary service after performing over 200 hours of public service to the Chicago community during her law school career.
In 2008, Kai received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with highest distinction, from Emory University, where she graduated with a concentration in Organization and Management and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
