Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Hires Susan Kim As Of Counsel
CHICAGO – February 4, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm with offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, announced that Susan Kim has joined the firm as an of counsel member in the Chicago office. Ms. Kim has a diverse law background, which includes experience in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, Ms. Kim was the deputy general counsel for property management and claims at the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, where she represented the agencies, boards and commissions under the jurisdiction of the Governor of the State of Illinois in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of property. Prior to that, Ms. Kim was a real estate associate with Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon LLP, where she represented developers, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants in acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing projects, including the leasing and financing of a 250,000-square-foot shopping center with financing in excess of $40 million.
Ms. Kim has co-written numerous articles in the real estate and legal sectors, which have been featured in publications such as Retail Law Strategist, Illinois Real Estate Journal and Real Estate Executive Magazine.
Ms. Kim earned her J.D. in 1998 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1989.
